Over the past year, I’ve been scanning old family photos in an effort to archive them for my mother. The plan is to scan them, then burn them to DVDs and share them with my four sisters and our extended families so everyone has a copy. With the holidays upon us, I just had to share a few oldies but goodies:

A Holly Hobby Christmas - Sisters 3, 4 & 5

NanaBread & Sister #1 - We'll have a Blue Christmas without you...

Look what Dad found under the tree...Sister #3!

Don' ask. I have no idea why #1 and I are beating up the tree with stick horses.

Wahoo! New baby dolls for #1 and I. We're obviously stunned.

Mom must have told them Santa won't come if you're stinky.

I don't know where to start with this one. My stiff zombie pose? Original Flintstones on the TV? The matching outfits? The 'hear no evil' monkeys on the wall?

The day Santa was born. Nope, wait...that's Sister #3.
Happy holidays, dear readers. I hope you have the opportunity to spend time with your loved ones and celebrate the joy of the season. Love and peace – NB

That was really fun. I enjoyed seeing the outfits and decor. Those monkeys cracked me up! And that white and teal tree was beautiful! :)
What a blast from the past that was… lots of commonalities in our childhoods. I think my mom made the same dresses for my sister and I; but ours were red. I had the exact same baby buggy too! Remember it vividly.
Thanks for taking me back to those good times!! Merry Christmas to you and TCP!
Back atcha! I hope you, your cowboy and your three lovely girls have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year! -NB & TCP
I think we were trying to wack the ‘flock’ out of that tree!!!
Don’t you just miss those matching out fits. I think we all need to do it again!! That would scare the pants off the world!!
No thanks! The five us in matching vertical striped polyester jumpsuits would NOT BE PRETTY!!!
How very sweet. Your mom will love it when you get them all organized on a cd. Merry Christmas. Pat
What a truly fun post and a great looking family! You can make fun, but they all look like very happy photos, and that’s something to truly treasure!
Thanks. It wasn’t always easy with 5 girls in the house, especially during the teen years, but we survived without killing each other and we’re all stronger for it. We do have fun together. That’s one thing no one will ever take away from us. We really enjoy each other’s company, and we’re always laughing. It’s very special.
Loved the family pics!! They brought back such memories of my childhood Christmases and your captions cracked me up!!! Happy New Year and thanks for some great recipes!
You’re welcome, Karen! I always love to see family photos on other blogs, too. It brings back great memories of my own childhood. Thanks for dropping in and for leaving a comment. I always appreciate feedback from readers. Please stop in again (and again, and again)!
