Happy anniversary, honey. I still love you like a teenager.
Update: No, that doesn’t mean in the back seat of a car. You’re a funny guy.

  1. Happiest of Anniversaries to you! Jeanne & TCP! 29 years…how wonderful.

  2. Happy Anniversary! What an amazing testament to a strong marriage!

    • Thank you, Kandi! I was just telling TCP yesterday that there are times when it just doesn’t seem like it has been 29 years, and other times when I can hardly remember my life without him in it. It will be fun to see what the next 29 years brings!

  3. Bahaha! I LOVE that bride and groom! Congrats on 29 years, marriage is hard work and you are a great example to those around you! Hugs, Tonya

This is quite an accomplishment for us. We are now the longest married couple on either side of our families. Thanks for being a true partner in every sense. The first 29 years have been terrific. Getting married, starting a life together, raising our daughter. Now we are looking forward to the next part of our lives together. Grandchildren, travel, retirement. I hope the next part is as good as the first part. It is sure starting off great. Every day I thank God for you in my life. I know how lucky I am. I love you more each day. Love, TCP.

    • Ahhhh, you big lug. You made me tear up. Thanks, honey. I love you, too. Always have; always will. Who knew a blind date would lead to all of this? You are my one and only, forever and always.

Sweeeet! We gotcha by 10 wonderful years! See you Saturday as Kaki begins # uno. Pat

    • Wow! 39 for you and Carl? That’s awesome! Can’t wait to watch Kaki start her life with Donny and watch them celebrate their own milestones together. So happy for them!

Oh, congratulations you two! I hope you both have many more happy, healthy years together :)

p.s. I will be committing the requirements of Love and Humor to memory.

  7. Your tags on your post cracked me up!! I can still bounce a quarter off your butt and teen brides with cradle robbing husbands… hilarious!! thanks for making my day!

    • I always wonder if anyone reads the tags. Sometimes I put them in just to see if anyone is paying attention, and I always get a kick out of other blogger’s goofy tags when they use them. Thanks for playing along, Katie!
